Step into the ranks of the Roman legions with this masterfully crafted Lorica Squamata. Designed specifically for the demands of historical reenactment and SCA combat, this scale armor provides a stunning visual profile without sacrificing the flexibility required for movement on the field.
Each individual scale is precision-cut from high-quality brass and meticulously overlapped to ensure maximum coverage and the iconic "shimmer" of a Roman officer or cavalryman.
Product Specifications:
Material: High-grade Brass scales (corrosion-resistant and polished to a gold-like shine).
Backing: Durable, heavy-duty padded cotton or leather canvas (select your preference).
Weight: Approximately 8–10 kg (varies by size), distributed evenly for long-wear comfort.
Fit: Adjustable leather side-lacing for a custom, secure fit over a subarmalis or tunica.
Design: Authentic SPQR styling, based on archaeological finds of Roman scale shirts from the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.
