Each of our products is handcrafted with care, so please allow a little extra time for production and finishing.
Scale armor and lamellar armor are among the earliest forms of protective body armor in history. Both styles use overlapping metal plates arranged in horizontal rows to create a flexible yet durable defense. Traditional scale armor was sewn, laced, or riveted onto a leather or padded fabric backing, while lamellar armor was constructed by lacing the plates directly together without the need for a separate backing.
Our loose brass scales are ideal for crafting authentic historical armor, restoring existing pieces, or creating custom designs for reenactment, LARP, cosplay, and display.
